«I worked with Ilektra for about one year at BPIE. Over that period we elaborated together several reports and studies, including on few EU research projects. In particular, Ilektra had a consistent contribution to a report on mapping the EU policies for energy efficiency in buildings within the ENTRANZE EU project, on the elaboration of a cost-optimality report, on the preparation of a COHERENO EU project report defining criteria for tracking nZEB renovation, to a benchmarking report on good practices in boosting energy renovation in the EU countries. Ilektra is a very committed and enthusiastic person, good sense of humour, effective and target oriented, learning fast and overall a great team mate. It has been a great pleasure to work together with Ilektra and I recommend her as a very good added value to any research team. »

Boosting building renovation. An overview of good practices.
Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE)
As an attempt to boost building renovation around EU and to support MS to elaborate their long-term renovation plans, the studysummarises good renovation practices in Europe and around the globe. The focus is given to existing or planned renovation regulatory requirements in selected countries, while long-term plans and support programmes for building refurbishment, adopted by EU countries and regions, are also presented. The study concludes by providing recommendations to MS on how to proceed…

Overview of the EU-27 building policies and programs. Cross-analysis on MS' plans to develop their building regulations towards the nZEB standard
Intelligent Energy Europe
The report provides a brief overview of buildings policy frameworks in the EU-27 countries, including building codes requirements, enforcement and compliance, renewable energy use in buildings, nearly zero energy buildings policies and main economic instruments in place in the EU-27 countries.
The report was realised as part of an Intelligent Energy Europe project,
entitled ENTRANZE-“Policies to ENforce the TRANsition to Nearly Zero Energy buildings inthe EU-27” (http://www.entranze.eu/).The report provides a brief overview of buildings policy frameworks in the EU-27 countries, including building codes requirements, enforcement and compliance, renewable energy use in buildings, nearly zero energy buildings policies and main economic instruments in place in the EU-27 countries.

NZEB criteria for typical single-family home renovations in various countries
This report proposes a set of criteria to track nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEB) renovation
in order to identify market actors that implement nZEB renovation for housing sector in five
target countries. The report is established as part of an Intelligent Energy Europe project,
entitled COHERENO-“Collaboration for housing nearly zero-energy renovation”

Implementing the cost-optimal methodology in EU countries- Lessons learned from three case studies
REHVA- The European HVAC Journal. Volume 50. Issue 3. page 16.
The recast Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD,2010/31/EU) requires Member States to introduce minimum energy performance requirements for buildings, building elements and technical building systems and set these requirements based on a cost-optimal methodology. However, the relevant regulation and guidelines developed by European Commission provide Member States with a very large degree of flexibility on how to implement the cost-optimal methodology at national level. The report presents the findings of the latest study (BPIE, 2013) carried out by Buildings Performance Institute Europe providing practical examples of costoptimal
calculations in EU countries. The study serves as additional guidance to Member States on the cost-optimality process and on how to use the methodology relating to nearly Zero-Energy
Buildings (nZEB) requirement and long-term climate goals.Άλλοι συντάκτεςΔείτε τη δημοσίευση -
Implementing the cost-optimal methodology in EU countries- Lessons learned from three case studies
Buildings Performance Institute of Europe (BPIE)
Convinced that Member States would benefit from additional guidance on the cost-optimality process and on how to use the methodology relating to nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB) requirements and long-term climate goals, BPIE intends to provide with this report additional practical examples on how to effectively implement the cost-optimal methodology at national level. The main goal is to evaluate the implications of different critical parameters, as well as to share the good practices across EU countries.
Three case studies are delivered with the support of consultants from Austria (e-sieben), Germany (IWU) and Poland (BuildDesk), focusing on cost-optimal calculations for multi-family and / or single-family buildings. The report and case studies demonstrate how ambitious yet affordable cost-optimal energy performance requirements for buildings can be defined and how the transition towards nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEBs) can be supported.Άλλοι συντάκτεςΔείτε τη δημοσίευση -

The study examines to what extent the introduction of new, sustainable consumer products and technologies has led to unexpected, new or increased environmental and health risks and if so, under what circumstances this occurs. The aim is to identify ways to enable and promote detection and prevention of risks in the entire product life cycle as early in the innovation process as possibleΆλλοι συντάκτες
