Potent and selective src family kinase inhibitor, including v-Src and c-Fyn. Selective for analogs rather than wild-type kinase (IC50 values are 1.5 nM and 1 µM for v-Src analog versus wild-type). Also inhibits c-AbI and Aurora A kinase and is a potent PKD inhibitor. Shows anti-cancer actions. Cell-permeable.
