New Play Space Coming to Meadowbrook/Ludford Construction is set to begin on an exciting new local play space for the community of Meadowbrook, Ludford, Ballinteer — located at the corner of Ludford Drive and Acorn Road. This new amenity will offer a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children and families to enjoy. We undertook a series of public consultation events to hear from residents and stakeholders about what should be included in the new play space. Feedback was compiled into a report that informed the design tender. The final design—similar in scale to other recent play spaces across the County—was presented to stakeholders in September.
