    We've been busy at #kubicle over the last few weeks presenting our programs to L&D communities in the UK and Ireland. At #Learnovation in Dublin, we ran a quick poll with attendees to find out where their organisations sit on Kubicle’s AI Persona Framework - from Apprentice to Strategist. The results painted a fascinating picture. Most L&D teams surveyed see themselves as either Apprentices or Navigators. Apprentices are still learning the ropes of basic AI concepts and beginning to build confidence with tools. Navigators are already weaving AI into daily workflows to save time and enhance collaboration. But the real gap, and perhaps the most interesting insight, lies in the Architect persona. These are the people who take AI beyond experimentation. They’re the ones responsible for implementing AI strategies, connecting data and tools across teams, and making sure AI adoption isn’t just happening in pockets but across the entire organisation. Yet very few respondents identified as being at this level. It suggests a huge opportunity for L&D to step into a more strategic role - to become the bridge between AI vision and AI execution. As AI becomes central to how organisations learn and operate, those who can design and implement scalable, responsible AI solutions will shape the next era of workforce capability. Only around 20% of event attendees took part in our survey, but even in that small sample, filled with learning leaders, educators, HR and ed-tech innovators, the story was clear. Most are ready to learn. Few are yet ready to implement and lead.
