✨ Ladies, your voice matters ✨ At Humm Care, we’ve always believed that women’s health and wellness deserve priority. But to truly create solutions that serve you, we need to hear from YOU.    I invite all women in my network to take 30 seconds to fill out this short survey on women’s health and wellness: https://tally.so/r/3XAXAY Your input will directly shape the kind of care and services we build at Humm and help organisations understand what women need. And as a small thank you for your time, you’ll also receive a 10% discount code at the end of the survey to use on our app. Let’s make healthcare work better for women 💜 #WomensHealth #Wellness #HummCare

  • 🚀 Health is personal, but it is also professional. A growing body of research shows that when employees are healthier, they don’t just feel better, they perform better: 1. U.S. CDC: Productivity losses linked to absenteeism cost employers $225.8 billion annually (that’s about $1,685 per employee) 2. World Health Organization: Every $1 invested in workplace mental health yields a $4 return in improved health and productivity 3. McKinsey (2023): Companies that prioritize wellbeing see up to 3x higher employee engagement and retention At Humm Care, we believe employee wellness isn’t a “perk”, it’s a performance strategy. From preventive screenings to mental health support, we design programs that reduce burnout, cut down absenteeism, and boost engagement. 💡 The healthier the team, the stronger the business. And that’s the impact we’re here to deliver. #EmployeeWellbeing #Productivity #FutureOfWork #HummCare

  • Perks are nice. Free snacks, gym memberships, or occasional team outings. But for working parents, these aren’t what really make a difference. What matters most? Flexibility. Flexibility to log off early for a parent-teacher meeting. Flexibility to work from home when a child is unwell. Flexibility to adjust hours without guilt. Because for parents, the real challenge isn’t the workload alone, it’s balancing two full-time jobs: career and caregiving. At Humm Care, we believe the future of workplace wellbeing isn’t just about perks, it’s about policies that recognize life beyond the office. What do you think? Should flexibility be treated as a perk or as a basic workplace right? #WorkingParents #EmployeeWellbeing #FutureOfWork #HummCare

  • My origin story - here's how the Humm logo came about.

Not many people know the story behind our logo. And honestly, we often wonder the same about so many brands. Who designed it? What does it stand for? When I was first dreaming up Humm, I wanted the logo to feel like more than a symbol. I wanted it to carry the heart of what we were building. So it wasn’t a designer’s brief or a long creative process. It simply began with a scribble in my notebook.   “Humm” in Hindi means us. That word felt like the soul of what we were building, a community, a sense of belonging. And the “M”? I drew the dots as two people holding hands, standing side by side. A simple sketch to remind us that care only works when we show up for each other.   But the logo also speaks to something much deeper. From the very beginning, our values have been anchored in one belief: no one should ever have to walk through life feeling alone. Not when it comes to their health. Not in moments of emotional turmoil. Not in the quiet, everyday struggles that are so integral to our wellbeing.   At Humm Care, empathy is our starting point. We listen before we act. We create spaces where people feel safe to be vulnerable, because true care begins with being understood. Equity and Inclusivity is our commitment. Access to healthcare shouldn't be a privilege but a human right. That means showing up not just for those at the centre of the system, but for those who are too often left at the margins. And our work here has shown us there are so many who remain unrepresented, people navigating stigma, those without access to traditional healthcare, those whose needs don’t fit into neat boxes that the system would like them to.   And inclusivity is at our core. Care has no gender and age. Who doesn't deserve it? Whether it’s a young professional struggling silently with anxiety, a mother balancing caregiving with her own health, someone from the LGBTQ+ community seeking affirming support, or someone looking to caregiving support or elderly care for their family members - everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and cared for.   That’s why the “M” matters so much to me. Those two dots holding hands are a promise or community and togetherness. A reminder that care only works when we stand side by side, when we refuse to let anyone feel invisible, when we say, “you belong here.”   That doodle I drew in my notebook many years ago became the logo you see today. It's a daily reminder that Humm Care is not about me, or even just our team - it’s always been about US.   #LogoStory #BrandJourney #BehindTheLogo #FoundersStory #HumanDesign #CommunityFirst #CareTogether #StartUpLife #HummCare

We talk a lot about maternity leave, but not enough about what happens after. The postpartum phase is one of the toughest transitions a woman goes through: sleepless nights, physical recovery, feeding challenges, managing family responsibilities, and often, the pressure of planning a return to work. And yet, structured support for new mothers is still rare. No surprise then that 1 in 7 women experience postpartum depression (CDC). At Humm Care, we’re trying to change that. We’ve built a system where mothers and families don’t have to piece things together: - Mental health counselling designed for new moms and moms returning to work - Dedicated care managers who guide and follow up every step of the way - Physical health support like postpartum yoga, lactation experts, and life coaches - Practical help with doulas, newborn vaccinations, and health checks for mom and baby - A “never say no” approach. If it matters to you, we’ll find a way to make it happen Postpartum care shouldn’t be fragmented. It should be simple, personal, and complete. When mothers are supported, families thrive, and that's when workplaces thrive too. 👉 If you’d like to explore how Humm Care can bring postpartum support programs to your employees, get in touch with us. #PostpartumCare #EmployeeWellbeing #HummCare

  • Earlier this month, we shared a special newsletter for National Nutrition Week, featuring Megha Terse - Mandke, our expert dietitian with over a decade of experience in clinical and functional nutrition. Here are the key takeaways we think are worth revisiting: 🥗 Eat in sequence – fiber first, then protein, then carbs—for steadier energy. 🚶♀️ Move every hour – even a 5-minute walk or chair stretch can cut fatigue by 46 %. 💧 Hydrate mindfully – dehydration is a hidden cause of headaches and dips in focus. Megha also reminds us that Indian superfoods like fennel, ajwain, methi, and halim seeds can be simple, powerful additions to everyday meals. We recognise that good nutrition isn’t a week-long trend. It’s a foundation for sharper focus, better mood, and stronger teams all year round. Let’s make eating right a shared culture! Over 1 billion people worldwide are now living with mental health conditions. That’s one in every eight of us. I was reading the new WHO reports, World Mental Health Today and the Mental Health Atlas, and they do show some progress in policies and awareness. But the gaps are still quite stark. Mental health receives just 2% of government health budgets, which is a figure that hasn’t shifted in years. And in low-income countries, spending can be as little as $0.04 per person compared to $65 in high-income nations. That's a massive difference, while mental health demands stay universal.   Here's what Dr. Tedros, Director-General of the World Health Organization, said, “Investing in mental health means investing in people, communities, and economies - an investment no country can afford to neglect.” This hits home for us. At Humm Care, we see every day how much it matters to make care accessible, continuous, and stigma-free. Mental health cannot be treated as a privilege when it is a basic right.   With the UN High-Level Meeting on Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health coming up later this month in New York, my hope is that governments move from words to urgent action. Because behind every statistic is a person, a family, a workplace, and a community that deserves better.     #MentalHealthForAll #HealthEquity #WellbeingAtWork #UniversalHealthCoverage #GlobalHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing #HumanRights
