At YES BANK, he was the National Head – Digital Banking Sales, Alliances & Partnerships, where he played a critical role in expanding digital capabilities and deepening alliance-driven growth. His leadership is expected to drive BHIM’s scale and integration within NPCI’s larger vision for financial inclusion and digital transformation. Prior to this, Vivek held leadership roles at several prominent banks, including Head – Alternate Channels at IndusInd Bank, where he drove managing FPI/FVCI/FDI/Custody/ Connected Banking/Structured transactions to enhance customer experience. 🚨 Payments Council of India reappoints CCAvenue exec Vishwas Patel as chairperson The Payments Council of India (PCI) has reappointed Vishwas Patel, Joint MD of CCAvenue, as Chairperson for the 2025–27 term. MN Srinivasu (BillDesk) and Nalin Bansal (NPCI) will serve as Co-Chairpersons. With over 190 members, PCI represents India’s non-bank payments industry and works with regulators like RBI and the Finance Ministry to advance the vision of a “less-cash” economy.
