Aleksandra Kmak-Pamirska

I have a PhD in History from Jagiellonian University in Cracow, which I received in 2013. The topic of my PhD-thesis was Bishop Carl Maria Splett in Historical Memory. While I was completing my doctoral studies at the University, I worked as a lecturer in the European Studies Department. From 2014 to 2018, I was working as a researcher at the German Historical Institute of Warsaw in the department of Regionalism and Regional Formation. From December 2018 to May 2019 I was working as a researcher in the Sorbian Institute of Bautzen-Cottbus, where I analyzed the issue of the touristification of Lower Sorbian culture in the early decades of the 20th century. From June 2019 I have been working in Pilecki Institute in Warsow with the project about the memory of the II WW.
