🌟 September Highlights! 🌟 September was a month full of excitement and success! The third edition of Lario Space 2025 was a true triumph, with 60 speakers, 30 exhibitors, and 700 attendees meeting for 48 hours of stimulating discussions and innovative collaborations. A truly special moment? A NASA lunar sample made the event even more extraordinary. 🌕 Another major milestone was the launch of BOLT (Balloon Operated Low-Gravity Test), our revolutionary program that changes the rules of the game in microgravity testing. We also participated in the ESA workshop on automated LEO platforms in Leiden, where we explored the latest innovations in space research and manufacturing. And finally, we're thrilled to welcome Alexander, a balloon specialist, and Andrea, a launch operations specialist and avionics technician, to the InvolveSpace team! Have you ever wondered how our stratospheric missions come to life? 🚀 It all starts in the Involve Space lab. The star is Polyurethane. It is a material that may be thinner than a human hair but is incredibly strong. It ensures the balloon’s integrity under extreme pressure and temperatures. Our Balloon Specialists, Maurizio and Alexander, carefully roll out and cut these ultra-thin sheets of film on our workbenches. Once cut, the sheets are carefully overlapped, and the seams are heat-sealed to ensure maximum strength. Next, we create grooves into which the load tapes are inserted. These tapes play a crucial role in distributing the weight and forces acting on the balloon during flight.
