🛣️ Discover how Roads4All - Horizon Europe Project is reshaping road safety across Europe by going beyond infrastructure — tackling the cultural and behavioural roots of accidents. This Horizon Europe project promotes a positive traffic safety culture through real-world pilots, behavioural science, and innovative policies in five countries. ✨ Follow the journey to safer, more sustainable mobility grounded in shared responsibility and evidence-based solutions. 👇 #Roads4All #HorizonEurope #roadsafety #sustainablemobility #cultureofsafety
🚦 Why Roads4All? Because safety is more than infrastructure. Despite major progress, road crashes remain a leading cause of injury and death across Europe. Too often, they are seen as technical or enforcement problems - when in reality, they also reflect deep-rooted cultural and behavioural patterns. Roads4All is a Horizon Europe project that aims to transform how Europe approaches road safety - by addressing its social, organisational, and institutional dimensions. Our goals: ✅ Build a positive traffic safety culture grounded in shared values and collective responsibility. ✅ Test real-world interventions in five Living Roads pilots across Europe (Estonia, Croatia, Greece, Italy, and Serbia). ✅ Combine behavioural science, creative engagement, and policy innovation to foster sustainable change. ✅ Support policymakers, organisations, and communities with evidence-based tools to shape safer mobility systems. By rethinking how we design, educate, and act, Roads4All is paving the way toward a cultural transformation of road safety in Europe — where safety becomes part of everyday life. We are officially live on all social media channels. Give us a follow to be part of the journey. #Roads4All #HorizonEurope #RoadSafety #Mobility #CultureOfSafety #SystemicChange #SustainableMobility #CoCreation I-SENSEGroup/ICCS International Road Federation (IRF) - Official Account White Research Q-PLAN INTERNATIONAL Sveučilište Algebra Bernays DISSCO Dissemination-Science-Communication Technische Universität Dresden Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology ISINNOVA - Ricerca Innovazione Sostenibilità APRE - Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea Region of Central Macedonia Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia - Agencija za bezbednost saobraćaja

Good news for Europe’s soils. With the final approval of the 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐒𝐌𝐋) on 23 October 2025, the EU set a clear path toward healthy soils by 2050. ISINNOVA contributed by elaborating the AI 4 Soil Health policy brief, turning the law into practical steps for Member States and regions. 🔎 What’s inside (and why it matters): • 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐞: a decision-ready data infrastructure integrating soil, climate and vegetation to guide sustainable management. • 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: SML-aligned indicator selection to give countries and regions a complete, comparable picture of soil health. • 𝐈𝐧-𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬: new methods being road-tested across Europe—like the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture trial in a Croatian orange and pomegranate grove—to make monitoring faster and more accessible. 💡 The #AI4SoilHealth brief explains how to move from policy to practice: soil districts and units, sampling protocols, indicator logic, and data infrastructure to underpin national monitoring programmes. 👉 Read the policy brief: https://lnkd.in/ep4e6nq9 #soilhealth #sustainability #innovation #ISINNOVA #EuropeanUnion
With new European soil health legislation passing into law last week many policy makers will be asking...How do we find the latest tools for building a national soil monitoring programme? Look no further. Here are some pictures of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture team leading a trial of smart soil health measurement tools in an orange and pomegranate grove in Croatia. New monitoring methods like these are being road tested across the different soil districts of Europe to uncover new and improved ways of collecting soil health data. This is just one aspect of the science and innovation the AI 4 Soil Health project is undertaking to help policy makers be ahead of the curve when it comes to implementing the new Directive on Soil Monitoring and Resilience. We are also: Building a Soil Health Data Cube to aid the sustainable management of Europe’s soils by integrating crucial data on soil, climate, and vegetation into a unified, decision-ready format. And: Figuring out a robust framework of soil health indicators, which can give counties and regions a complete picture of soil health, accounting for all its complexities. Want to find out more?
