We have been awarded the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract by PETRONAS CCS Ventures Sdn Bhd for the Southern Onshore Facilities of Malaysia’s flagship Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project.    Building on the successful completion of pre-FEED services in 2024, this next phase will see us advance the engineering for the Southern onshore CO₂ receiving terminal in Peninsular Malaysia. The terminal is designed to receive CO₂ from multiple domestic and international industrial emitters, which will subsequently be transported and injected into offshore geological storage.     This milestone marks a critical acceleration in delivering one of Southeast Asia’s most advanced low-carbon infrastructure projects, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a CCS leader in the region 🌏https://lnkd.in/d7-8Gj4B   #GrowWithRINA

Magnolia Yachts is currently building the first yacht in their new series, the Magnolia 41-metre, which we are classing to our rules and standards. With an overall length of 41 metres, a steel hull, and an aluminium superstructure, this large-volume superyacht offers 485 GT dedicated to unparalleled guest experiences and comfort. Designed as an ocean-going vessel, she embodies the highest standards of construction, safety, fuel efficiency, and performance. The yacht will be assigned the Commercial Yacht notation for Unrestricted Navigation under the flag of the Marshall Islands. Her interior is designed to accommodate up to 10 passengers across luxurious suites, supported by 8 crew members and captain. Propelled by twin engines of 900 kW each, she is engineered for reliability and long-range cruising above 5000 mile-range. Planned for completion in 2026, the Magnolia 41-metre will also integrate innovative technologies to minimise environmental impact, reflecting Magnolia Yachts’ commitment to sustainable yachting. #GrowWithRINA

We have been selected by the IFC - International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, as one of the first accredited verification providers for the Building Resilience Index (BRI). The BRI is IFC’s web-based platform that helps building owners, developers, financial institutions, and city officials assess and strengthen resilience to climate and natural hazard risks in the built environment - an essential step in today’s unprecedented and hard-to-predict climatic scenarios. Collaboration and innovation took centre stage at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show S.A.M. where we presented two commemorative plaques to mark significant milestones in our partnerships with leading shipyards. Palumbo SuperYachts was awarded a plaque celebrating our long-standing partnership over the years. This moment was made even more special as it coincided with the formalisation of the construction supervision contract for their impressive new 100-metre flagship yacht - a project that further strengthens our long collaboration. Benetti Yachts received the RINA Maxima statement for a pioneering project that utilised 3D technology for design approval. The designer collaborated with our Plan Approval department using 3D files, enabling a faster verification process and eliminating the need for traditional 2D drawings.
