Analysis, Design, Implementation and Experimentation of high scalable algorithm concerning text indexing and analysis (text classification and distributional models).
This project has been developed in the SWAP (Semantic Web Access ad Personalization) research lab (Department of Computer Science, University of Bari "Aldo Moro") under the supervision of Dr. Cataldo Musto.

Goal of this project was Hadoop Distributed FS's modeling, such as:
- Namenode, structure and behaviour;
- Datanode, as before;
- Clientnode, as before;

and analysis of them for ensuring some interesting computational properties typical of distributed systems.

Analysis, Design, Implementation and Experimentation of a compression module based on NuSVM technique in the DC* algorithm, developed from the Computational Intelligence Lab (Department of Computer Science, University of Bari "Aldo Moro"), which aim is fuzzy information granules extraction focused on dataset preliminar exploration and comprehension enhancement.

Analysis, Design and Implementation of GUI features for an instant multilanguage support tool designed for multicultural and multilanguage development teams. Work development process was focused on Agile style using Microsoft Visual Studio as IDE, Codeplex as DVCS and several support tools as SocialTFS, developed from the Collaborative Development Group (Department of Computer Science, University of Bari "Aldo Moro").

The problem addressed in this study regards the absence of usability practices in industry.

Several state-of-the-art works discovered some bad practices, like:
- high Human-Centered Design costs in current software development processes;
- absence of Usability measures/frameworks/guidelines in Call for Tenders;
- "developer mindset": developers often focus their efforts on internal software qualities, despite UI aspects.
