Today we released Fusion Studio 20.1 update which improves immersive video workflows with a new 360º views menu option, and new immersive patcher and immersive distort tools! These let you adjust the shape and appearance of immersive images just like standard footage, making it easier to create and refine content for formats like Apple Vision Pro. This gives you a faster, more intuitive workflow for spatial and immersive video in Fusion. There are also improvements to MultiText that make text formatting more intuitive and easier to use. You can now style individual characters or words with different fonts or colors, apply paragraph level styling to easily align text left, center, or right, and apply indents for cleaner formatting. Additionally, you can import CSV files directly, and they will be automatically arranged into column-aligned MultiText text boxes for easy formatting and layout. This update also adds support for AI Magic Mask 2, allowing you to click to select and track people, features, and objects in Fusion with far more accuracy. This makes it easier to apply your special effects, adjust settings and fine tune your animations to objects moving in the frame. In Unreal Engine’s Motion Design Mode, scenes can communicate with transition logic layers such as In, Out, and Change. But what happens if it’s none of these three states? For example, you need additional triggers to shift up and shift down. You can handle this with scene tags and customize the transition logic tree, but my preferred method is the States option in Scene Settings. It lets you define multiple custom actions in just a few seconds. At the start of this video, you’ll also notice our new Launcher module. It loads all Motion Design levels in a project, provides logs for monitoring and debugging, helps configure shows and channels, and allows passing cvars directly from the launch settings.
