BNP Paribas has supported MFE-MediaforEurope N.V. (MFE) in its voluntary public takeover offer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. With the closing of the transaction on 16 September, MFE becomes the majority shareholder, securing a total stake of 75.61% of shares.   MFE is the holding company of one of the major pan-European broadcasting hubs. We are pleased to announce that this week we priced our 7th CLO in Europe, this marks our 12th CLO globally. This EUR 406mn deal comprises a diversified pool of loans issued by European corporate borrowers. The transaction was placed with a syndicate of leading international institutional investors. Commenting on the transaction, Siddharth Chhabra, Head of Securitized Credit & CLO Management and Euro High Yield, said: “This 12th CLO marks an important milestone for our US and European CLO Management program. It is clear reflection of how far we have come as team in building our Leveraged Finance and Securitized Credit business, which is now over $25bn in AUM and a key component of RBC BlueBay’s fixed income offering. Looking ahead, our target is to price four to six deals per year on average across our global platform: with two to three in Europe and two to three in the US. As we have just hit twelve CLOs globally, our expectation is to increase this to over twenty CLOs in the next 2 years."
