Each year, UNIQLO’s Global Management Program (GMP) gives talented undergraduate students from around the world the chance to travel to Tokyo for an intensive 6-day business program. The program provides an exclusive opportunity for students to interact with global business leaders, and learn more about the fashion/retail industry and Fast Retailing's business, allowing participants to share ideas, experience global perspectives, and grow as future leaders. One student attending this year’s program was Lew Sheng Zheng, an undergraduate from Taylor's University, who was invited to represent Malaysia. "Participating in the GMP has helped shape and clarify my understanding of what defines a responsible company with a positive work culture and strong ethics,” Zheng said. “I found the company’s people-centric approach especially admirable and unlike anything I had experienced before. Through this program, I aspire to embody the same sense of responsibility, whether toward employees or customers, while ensuring that goals and priorities are always placed in the right order.” To learn more about this program, and stay tuned for the opening of applications for 2026, see: https://lnkd.in/gc9Vz8s

It is with immense gratitude that we share that UNIQLO Indonesia has officially been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in 2025 by HR Asia Awards on June 20th, 2025 This prestigious recognition is more than just a symbol of external appreciation—it is a powerful testament to what we have built together. In today’s dynamic business environment, where agility, resilience, and integrity are critical, being recognized for our workplace culture is both an honor and a responsibility. The HR Asia Awards evaluate companies not only based on policies or frameworks but on the lived experience of employees—their sense of belonging, growth, and trust. It is based on in-depth employee surveys and cultural assessments, but on how people feel, connect, and thrive at work. That means this award reflects the voice, values, and dedication of our employees. At UNIQLO, we have always believed that People are the Heart of Our Business. This achievement reaffirms that belief. Every customer interaction, every behind-the-scenes collaboration, every challenge we face together—it all contributes to a workplace where people feel empowered, respected, and inspired to grow. Let’s continue to build a workplace where success is measured not only by numbers—but by how we support, inspire, and uplift each other. #uniqlo #lifewear #powerofclothing #uniqloindonesia #employerbranding #bestemployer #diversityequityandinclusion #employeeengagement #peopledevelopment #positiveworkenvironment

Celebrating World Environment Day, UNIQLO in Korea gave a behind-the-scenes look at how clothing donated by customers is reused and recycled in meaningful ways. In this special video, UNIQLO’s efforts to promote a more sustainable society are highlighted, with donated clothing items sorted and provided to local organizations that support refugees, homeless shelters, and facilities supporting those affected by domestic violence. Clothing that is no longer suitable for wear is transformed into fiber panels, which are manufactured into pieces of upcycled furniture for children. By putting a spotlight on the journey of clothing after donation, UNIQLO in Korea hopes that more customers will be encouraged to donate their own clothing – helping to give it a second life that makes life better for more people. #UNIQLO #UniqloKorea #REUniqlo #Sustainability #WorldEnvironmentDay #Powerofclothing
