🔄 Circularity & Inclusion: The Missing Links in Africa’s EV Transition ⚡ Two critical gaps flagged in the Africa E-Mobility Report 2025: 🔋 Battery Circularity — End-of-life (EOL) management is underdeveloped. Africa needs urgent investment in second-life batteries, safe recycling, and reuse systems to avoid future waste crises. 👩🏾🔧 Gender Inclusion — Women remain under-represented across the e-mobility value chain (manufacturing, operations, leadership). Without intentional inclusion, adoption risks being inequitable. 👉 Projects that tackle battery circularity or increase women’s participation are high-impact opportunities for both investors and policymakers.
