AICAD has the Kenya National office at Egerton University Njoro, Nakuru, The United Republic of Tanzania National office is at Sokoine University of Agriculture Morogoro and Uganda National Office is at Makerere University Kampala. The main goal of the Institute is poverty reduction in the African region through human capacity development.     A new milestone in skills development and youth empowerment was marked at the Kyambogo University Business Incubation Center, where the AICAD – Kyambogo Bakery and Confectionery Training was officially launched. The training was officially opened by Dr. Kedrace Turyagyenda, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports - Uganda Secondary Education Expansion Project (USEEP), who also serves as the Chairperson of the AICAD Governing Board. The Vice Chancellor of Kyambogo University, was ably represented by Assoc. Prof. Justus Kwetegyeka, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance and Administration), who reaffirmed the university’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
