I'm not usually one to toot my own horn on social media... but I'll be damned if we didn't earn the bragging rights for this: Our Health & Life Science Venture Day 2025 is over and I couldn't be happier! It felt fantastic seeing the months of work that Julius, Fabio and myself have put into this event finally come to life. We got to see many familiar faces and, even better, even more new faces. It's a pleasure to watch the northern life science startup community grow and flourish, and I'm very proud to be part of this ecosystem and help it evolve in the years to come. For now, though, congratulations to this year's winner, Aortex! A well deserved first place among tough competitors (who each delivered compelling pitches as well!). Many thanks to our co-hosts Hamburg Investors Network and HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, and of course a heartfelt thank you to a long list of supporters without whom we couldn't have pulled it off: Our jury members Claas H.
