What happens when you bring together colleagues from across Europe, mix business and technical skills, and give them 4 days to turn ideas into reality? You get the Toyota European Hackathon 2025. In Brussels, 12 teams from 10 Toyota divisions, spanning countries, corporate functions and manufacturing sites, came together. Over four days, participants collaborated to design prototypes, build demos, and pitch innovative solutions. Guided by our Toyota Production System principles of Respect for People, Teamwork, and Automation with a Human Touch, they showed what innovation looks like when it starts from within. Two winning teams stood out with outstanding AI solutions. But the real success was the creativity, energy, and collaboration that defined every moment. At Toyota Motor Europe, innovation isn't just a buzzword, it's a mindset we foster from within. The 2025 Toyota European Hackathon delivered 2 winning teams with outstanding AI solutions. Each team was composed of an equal mix of business and technical profiles that work together towards one same goal. My favorite thing is the focus because it has been a while that I could focus on one thing. During three days consecutively, and this is really amazing that we could we learned that with the focus we can have so much things done. Mostly, I think is the 11th about how to innovate, how to pitch a good idea, how to. A lot of tools also stuck, like for example learning some of the coding tools that we have at TME as also meeting new people we need network with some of our colleagues that have similar interests are. Alors vous pouvez ces brillants people, so it's not about Technology is abroat. And people development and about empowering people these technology.
