This week at the Parliamentary Breakfast in Germany, voices from politics, science and industry joined together to spotlight the aluminium beverage can as a model of circularity. The theme ‘Beyond Waste – the beverage can: back in circulation with every deposit,’ examined how the #beveragecan is a prime example of a functioning circular economy. Attendees included Angelika el Noshokaty, Managing Director of Aluminium Deutschland e.V. (AD), Daniel Rinkert, Member of the German Bundestag, Dr. Benedikt Kauertz of ifeu - Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg gGmbH and Ardagh's Felix Brandenburg speaking on topics such as: - deposit systems and innovation driving resource efficiency and decarbonisation; - adopting a scientific approach to make circularity measurable in the future; - recognising used beverage cans as a valuable raw material; and - Germany's development as a recycling hub in the beverage can sector. We're delighted to contribute to the conversation on supporting a #circulareconomy. #ArdaghMetalPackaging #AMPEurope #metalrecyclesforever

Colleagues from our glass production facility in Bad Münder, Germany recently donated 1,000 glass jars with lids to KGS Bad Münder and Michelsenschule Hildesheim. The KGS beekeeping club fills the jars with honey produced in their very own beehives, while Michelsenschule's nutrition department uses them for practical projects related to food and sustainability. We are delighted to support local educational initiatives with our #endlesslyrecyclable, #sustainablepackaging! #ArdaghGlassPackaging #AGPEurope #Sustainability #SocialSustainability #Community

Congratulations to our colleagues in Poland who recently celebrated 30 years of operation at our Radomsko metal production facility! #ArdaghMetalPackaging #AMPEurope #AMPPoland #Milestone
Our team at AMP-E in Poland came together to mark a major milestone — the 30th anniversary of our facility in Radomsko. From a single production line in 1995 to three today, the site reflects decades of innovation, collaboration, and continuous progress. The anniversary picnic brought together colleagues from across AMP-E Poland, creating a wonderful opportunity to connect, share memories, and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together. Highlights included a popular plant tour for guests and non-production employees, heartfelt reunions with retirees, and a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and pride — despite the weather! Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special. Here’s to the next chapter and many more milestones ahead. #AMPEurope #AMPEPoland

We are proud to stand with the Glass Packaging Institute in celebrating the passage of California’s AB 899 – a major win for domestic glass manufacturing and sustainability. Hats off to the Glass Packaging Institute for helping champion this legislation! #ArdaghGlassPackaging #AGPNorthAmerica #SustainablePackaging
California continues to lead the way in sustainable manufacturing. The Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) applauds Assembly member Rhodesia Ransom, MPA, California’s legislative leaders, and Governor Gavin Newsom for passing and signing AB 899, a significant step forward for domestic glass manufacturing. This legislation increases market-development payments for glass bottle manufacturers, helping to level the playing field against subsidized imports of wine bottles and food jars from Asia. By recognizing the benefits of higher-quality, U.S.-made glass, California is investing in a strong local manufacturing base that supports good-paying union jobs, reduces environmental impact, and strengthens the state’s wine and food industries. “California’s action on AB 899 sets a model for how states can invest in circular, resilient manufacturing,” said Scott DeFife, President of the Glass Packaging Institute. “By prioritizing domestic production, we strengthen supply chains, reduce environmental impact, and deliver high-quality packaging that supports the state’s world-renowned wine and food industries. Other states with glass industry facilities would do well to emulate California’s emphasis on the circular economy of glass”. We are delighted to have supported the recent launch of three transformative educational spaces in Brazil in partnership with Rede Educare and the Federal Law of Cultural Incentive. The Biblioteca do Futuro (Library of the Future) at Etelvina Pereira Braga Municipal School in Manaus was established as part of the Ardagh for Education programme and offers more than 850 books, with educational games, scientific instruments and laptops to promote interactive learning. At Manaus's Santa Rosa II Municipal School, the Casinha de Livros (House of Books) - a child-friendly reading space designed for early readers - provides a welcoming environment with children's books selected to promote literacy and emotional development. In Alagoinhas, Pedro Furtado Municipal School now has its own Biblioteca do Futuro, the second in this community. It contains a collection similar to that in Manaus, focusing on environmental and science education. These initiatives directly benefit more than 1,300 students and will help to strengthen the bond between Ardagh and our local schools and communities, leaving a lasting legacy of learning and opportunity. A big thank you to the Ardagh colleagues in Alagoinhas and Manaus who volunteered their time to organise the spaces for these successful launches! #ArdaghForEducation #STEM #STEMEducation #Community
