Small projects, big impact!

Introduced in the 2021-2027 period, the small-scale projects are shorter than classic ones, and have a smaller number of partners. Seven projects have been funded so far and a call for governance projects was launched in February 2024.
As most of the funded projects have now completed their activities, here is a collection of their outputs, a clear demonstration of the impact that this kind of projects have in the Alpine region:

Future of Cohesion Policy: final report online
Cohesion policy remains central to steering Europe towards shared prosperity and convergence. The Group on the Future of Cohesion Policy, set up by Commissioner Elisa Ferreira, presented its final report in February 2024.
Featuring recommendations to strengthen the EU’s cohesion policy, the report provides useful insights for all of us to consider when promoting the added value of Interreg.
The upcoming 9th Cohesion Forum will further refine these recommendations, with the European Commission’s report due in spring 2024. In addition to the report, further information is available on the European Commission website and in the online presentation.
