Refereed Contributions

Papers in this section undergo a double-blind refereeing process.  Referees are asked first to certify that these papers are potentially of interest to the Maple community, and second that the papers are well-written.  See the Referee Guidelines.

Papers on all topics of interest to the Maple community can appear in this section; refereeing standards appropriate to the paper's discipline will be used.

Student Corner

This section is intended to highlight notable student projects from around the world.  Direct submission by students is encouraged.  This section is not refereed as such but we intend to give useful feedback to the authors.  Submissions can be as a PDF, an active format such as a Maple worksheet, or as a video.

Communications

This unrefereed section is for contributions of interest that don't necessarily fit into any of the other categories.  Being unrefereed, publication here can be more rapid.  The Editors will work to ensure that the quality of exposition remains high, however.

Computational Art

This section will publish selected artworks (possibly including music) generated with the help of a computer.

Problems, Puzzles, and Challenges

This section will publish problems, puzzles, or challenges.  The ideal contribution would require not just computation, and not just human thinking, but a combination of human and computer to solve.  These are problems, puzzles, and challenges for the extended mind.  Of course the boundaries between these and research problems are quite fluid.

Reviews

This section publishes book reviews or reviews of other material of interest to the Maple community.
