  • 📍 Since March 2025, the EUAA has been supporting Belgium’s Immigration Office Office des étrangers - Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken in Brussels by deploying experts directly to the national registration centre. 🤝 Our experts work alongside Belgian officials to assist in the daily registration of applicants for international protection — an important early step that enables timely access to asylum procedures and helps reduce bottlenecks in the system. 📈 By strengthening front-line capacity and promoting efficient, quality-driven practices, the EUAA helps ensure that asylum processes are aligned with EU standards and responsive to operational needs.
