Bringing Jobsplus closer to you

About us

Born out of a rigorous phase of renewal, our new brand, Jobsplus, is centred on a dedicated vision and specialised mission designed to meet the needs and fuel the success of today’s local employment and training sector. The launch of our new website, www.jobsplus.gov.mt - featuring the innovative job-matching system - is part of our commitment to enhancing and facilitating access to the labour market. It reflects an innovative, sustainable, and fresh perspective towards the ever-changing world of employment. By offering interactive and dynamic functions, as well as a more personalised experience through the use of customisable dashboards; jobseekers and employers can now enjoy an improved overall job-matching experience, which will also result in reduced recruitment costs for employers through an immediate and accurate online matching process. While bringing jobseekers and employers together in a virtual environment, the job-matching system will provide the necessary tools, stats and information they need to pave the road to employment success. From 1990 until early 2016, the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC) has provided thousands of local jobseekers and employers with successful and rewarding work experiences by empowering, assisting and training jobseekers; promoting workforce development; and assisting employers in their recruitment and training needs.

  • 📺 Jobsplus on TVAM   On 2 December 2025, Graziella Cauchi from Jobsplus joined TVAM to explain the vital work carried out within the Employment Licences Unit.   She explained that Jobsplus reviews the labour market situation in Malta to understand current workforce requirements. Based on this assessment, the agency determines whether recruitment from non-EU countries is needed.   Graziella referred to employer and employee rights, the checks that occur before TCNs are permitted to work in Malta, and the processes associated with labour migration.   👉 Watch the full interview for more information.

  • Following our recent post on the Work Exposure Scheme, here’s the story from a different angle. 🎙️ The Director of BOA Solutions, Josiah Buttigeig, shares why hosting young trainees matters — for the business, the students, and the workforce of tomorrow. 👇 Watch the interview.

  • Today we took part in the Job Fair for 14–16-year-olds at St Margaret College, Cospicua! 🌟 Our Jobsplus stand, led by the Youth Guarantee team, welcomed students who are starting to think about their future — especially those who might not be sure whether to keep studying or explore other options. Sharon Spiteri from our team introduced students to who Jobsplus is and how we can help: ✨ Exploring different careers ✨ Understanding your strengths and interests ✨ Getting guidance and support ✨ Learning about training, work exposure, and youth programmes like the Youth Guarantee We also shared info and leaflets to help them make informed choices about what comes next. 💡 It was great meeting so many enthusiastic students ready to dream big and take their first steps toward their future! 💙
