ENL and Rogers confirm the successful completion of their corporate restructuring, following final approval from the Supreme Court of Mauritius. This transformational project, launched in November 2024, was designed to simplify the shareholding structure, strengthen organisational agility, and better align with the operational realities of a unified group. With overwhelming shareholder support (100% for ENL and 97.8% for Rogers) and the validation of regulatory authorities including the SEM, the green light from the Supreme Court clears the way for implementation effective 1 July 2025. This marks an important milestone in a shared journey that began more than 50 years ago, one built on shared values and a commitment to evolve with purpose. Recently, teams across ENL and Rogers came together for an in-house event themed “In the Age of AI and Beyond: Let’s Explore Emerging Technology Together”, hosted by the Technology & Operational Excellence department. The objective: to showcase real initiatives already underway and explore how emerging technologies can drive smarter, more resilient operations across sectors. We had the pleasure of welcoming, Charlotte Govin, founder of Deepest Blue AI, as our special guest. Her perspective on AI adoption and responsible innovation brought valuable depth to the exchange. Among the key innovations presented: • AI-powered recruitment and interview analysis • Robotic and intelligent process automation in HR, customer service, and fraud detection • Digital twins for predictive real estate project management • New fraud control systems powered by data and AI The event also highlighted a shared commitment to exploring these technologies responsibly, with ethics, impact, and collaboration at the centre of every decision. 🔗 Read more on how our operations are turning innovation into action: https://bit.ly/4dMIxpq #ENLgroup #EnablingPossibilities

🌱 Aprann 2.0 is an employability programme launched by ENL Foundation with the support of Oficea, designed to help young talents successfully enter the workforce. At the heart of the programme is mentorship, a key ingredient for building confidence and long-term professional growth. Aurélie Augustin, Project Officer and Counsellor at ENL Foundation, explains: “Mentors are there to answer questions, offer professional advice, and guide their mentees as they settle into their new roles. This ensures that beneficiaries feel welcomed and supported, helping them settle in and embrace the company culture.” Since 2023, more than 70 beneficiaries have found employment, including 10 within the ENL Group and among Oficea’s tenants, all supported by dedicated mentors. One of them is Jonaelle, now working at Tizoli, one of Oficea’s tenants, who stepped confidently into her new role thanks to her mentor, Christelle. This programme is part of ENL Foundation’s commitment to inclusive development. 🔗 Discover how the Aprann 2.0 programme is enabling career growth through mentorship: https://bit.ly/4kDfmYl #ENLgroup #EnablingPossibilities

How can marine plastic waste be transformed into a solution that benefits both people and the planet? ♻️🌊 That is the challenge taken on by Plastic Odyssey during its stopover in Mauritius, in collaboration with our subsidiary, Plastinax Eyewear. With nearly 50 years of expertise in sustainable eyewear manufacturing, Plastinax joined forces with the crew of this floating laboratory vessel to explore the use of recycled ocean plastic as a raw material for durable eyewear, contributing to a growing circular economy in the Indian Ocean. The visit offered the Plastic Odyssey team a first-hand look at the prototypes and the potential to scale this innovation further. 🔗 Learn more about this collaboration and how it reflects ENL’s commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation: https://bit.ly/4kmpW5X #ENLgroup #EnablingPossibilities #WorldEnvironmentDay

A first for both Mauritius and Africa! ✨ Telfair, the city of Moka Smart City, has achieved a significant milestone last week by becoming the first neighborhood in Africa to receive the LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. This globally recognised certification is one of the most rigorous international standards for urban environments. It assesses not just buildings, but entire neighbourhoods across three foundational pillars: sustainable urban planning, environmental stewardship, and quality of life. Over the past two decades, ENL has envisioned and meticulously planned Moka Smart City to be a model of resilience and livability. This milestone underscores our commitment to sustainable urban development and affirms that Mauritius has the capacity to lead in sustainable, inclusive territorial development. From biodiversity preservation to inclusive infrastructure, Telfair is the result of strategic and careful planning, collaboration and shared value creation. 🔗 Learn more about this landmark achievement here: https://bit.ly/4jofMjZ #ENLgroup #EnablingPossibilities

ENL Group a republié ceci
I believe development must serve the country, not just the market. As Mauritius faces the challenges of urbanisation, climate change impacts, and economic inclusion, the question is not whether we develop, but how we do so. The recent certification of Telfair in Moka as the first city in Africa to receive the LEED for Neighbourhood Development (LEED-ND) certification is a defining moment. It affirms our vision to create cohesive and liveable places, an achievement for Mauritius and a clear indication that we can set new standards for sustainable development. Awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a global leader in sustainable development standards, this certification is one of the most rigorous international standards for urban environments. It assesses not just buildings, but entire neighbourhoods across three foundational pillars: sustainable urban planning, environmental stewardship, and quality of life. This milestone also invites us to reflect on what kind of places are we building? What kind of society are we nurturing? We began planning Moka nearly two decades ago. It was about imagining a city that would grow with Mauritius: cohesive, connected, inclusive, and future-ready. The existing legal framework gives us the required incentives to bring that vision to life, enabling us to invest in green spaces, transport networks, and shared infrastructure — elements essential to quality of life, yet often overlooked in conventional developments. Development is not only about what we build. It is about how we shape land to unlock long-term value for the country. In Moka, this approach has created over 13,000 jobs, supported more than 2,000 businesses, and dedicated 50% of the city’s footprint to non-residential uses like education, healthcare, and public infrastructure. Moka has not evolved as an isolated project. It has become a unified urban ecosystem: one that strengthens neighbouring villages, preserves open spaces, supports entrepreneurship, and offers Mauritians access to opportunity and ownership. The LEED-ND certification is a major milestone in a broader national story. In Savannah and Bel Ombre, ENL and Rogers Group apply the same philosophy. These projects go beyond real estate, they empower communities by providing access to land, promoting sustainable agriculture, and preserving biodiversity. Bel Ombre is now both a UNESCO Man and Biosphere reserve and the bearer of the Green Village label. ENL will continue to pursue development where conditions allow it to be economically sound, socially inclusive, and environmentally responsible. Because what we build matters. But how and why we build matters even more. Moka Smart City
