Annual Meeting of African Science Academies

AMASA

The Annual Meeting of African Science Academies (AMASA) is a flagship event co-hosted by NASAC and partner organizations. Each year, AMASA brings together African science academies, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss critical issues in STEM education, sustainable agriculture, climate change, gene editing, and gender equality in science.

The meeting provides a collaborative platform to strengthen science capacity, influence policy, and share knowledge that drives Africa’s development. By uniting diverse voices, AMASA helps shape solutions for the continent’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.
