During our community-based sensitization program, we brought people together to learn, act, and protect their environment. We raised awareness on flood preparedness, waste management, and environmental hygiene, and took action by planting trees to strengthen the soil and reduce erosion. Tohether we are reimagining the future that is cleaner, greener, and stronger.

TLWDF Conducts Community-Led Climate Awareness Program in Tudun Jukun, Zaria, Kaduna State. In response to the devastating floods that affected parts of Zaria earlier in September 2025, The Life We Deserve Foundation conducted a Community Sensitization Program in Tudun Jukun community, Zaria Local Government Area, Kaduna State. Through the outreach, our team raised awareness on flood preparedness, community resilience, and public and environmental health safety. Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, residents learned practical steps to reduce flood risks — including proper waste disposal, drain maintenance, and early warning measures. Our team also engaged community leaders, youth, and women’s groups in discussions on how to strengthen local response systems and promote environmental responsibility. We appreciate the District Head of Tudun Jukun and the entire community for their warm reception and cooperation. Together, we can build safer and more resilient communities against climate-related disasters.

#SHEAdaptProject Update | Empowering Women for Green Business 🌿 We’ve officially kicked off the first batch of the Briquettes Business Training and Startup Support in Kudan LGA, Kaduna State! Through this training, women are being equipped with practical business and strategic marketing skills to effectively promote and sell eco-friendly briquettes — a cleaner, healthier, and sustainable alternative to charcoal and firewood. This milestone marks another big step toward building women-led green enterprises, improving community health, and advancing climate adaptation across Kaduna State. SHEAdapt Project Update 🎉 We have successfully concluded eco-briquette trainings across Giwa, Kudan, and Sabon Gari LGAs in Kaduna State!
