The Very Group (Very and Littlewoods) is celebrating its most profitable year ever after prioritizing profitability over sales volume. Despite a slight 1.8% dip in revenue, adjusted EBITDA surged 15.9% to a record £307.1 million, boosting the EBITDA margin to a historic 14.7%. AllSaints Group has achieved record profitability despite a drop in revenue, a sign their strategic pivot is working. Total revenue fell 4% as the brand deliberately reduced markdowns, but this drove record EBITDA of £69.5M (+1%) and a 93% jump in profit after tax. CEO Peter Wood credited the record profit to improved inventory management, and strengthening the company's core strategy.
