Upgrade your grid to optimise, decarbonise and transform

Over ons

Providing heating and cooling for homes, buildings, and industry accounts for nearly 50% of global final energy consumption. As these systems become increasingly interconnected with multiple energy carriers, their complexity will grow significantly. Traditional software is no longer sufficient to manage this level of complexity. This increases the need for digital and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, enable smarter decision-making, and ensure reliable energy delivery. With our real-time Digital Twin Platform, we create a digital copy of the entire grid from production through distribution to end-users, combining geographical, weather, and sensor data with physics-based models and AI. It allows energy providers to optimise their systems in real time, improve operational control, and run simulations of future situations. The Digital Twin enables energy providers to optimise performance, reduce CO2 emissions by up to 10%, lower operational costs, achieve up to 20% lower CapEx, and make smarter operational and business decisions. Gradyent currently partners with leading energy providers in over 35 cities across Europe, including Veolia, Helen, Iqony, Shell, Uniper, Gasunie (WarmtelinQ), and many more. Our team consists of 130+ energy specialists, engineers, data scientists and top-tier consulting alumni and is backed by investors Blue Earth Capital, SEB Greentech Venture Capital, Capricorn Partners, Eneco Ventures, Helen Ventures, and Energiiq.

  • Electrification isn’t plug-and-play. That was the key insight from Wim Janssen, Energy and Production Technologist at Smurfit Westrock, during our webinar on industrial steam decarbonization last year. Replacing a boiler is more than a technical upgrade, it requires a system-wide rethink, from steam generation and distribution to integration with broader energy strategies. As part of our ongoing commitment to support industrial energy users, Gradyent will continue this conversation in 2025 with a focus on Steam Source Intelligence and energy flexibility, helping industrial energy users uncover practical, high-impact strategies to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. 🔔 Stay informed: Our Steam Source Intelligence whitepaper series is coming soon! #SteamOptimization #IndustrialEnergyEfficiency #Electrification

  • Powering a smarter, low-carbon future in Böblingen! We’re partnering with Stadtwerke Böblingen to further optimize and future-proof their district heating system https://lnkd.in/e5r-9f2v Stadtwerke Böblingen shows how digitization and strategic planning can go hand in hand. With a network spanning around 60 km, the company supplied a total of 136 GWh to customers in 2024, 70% of which came from residual waste recycling, putting Böblingen on a strong path toward decarbonization. With Gradyent’s real-time Digital Twin Platform, Stadtwerke Böblingen can: 🔹 Dynamically optimize temperatures and enhance supply security 🔹 Gain insights into consumption behavior to minimize heat losses 🔹 Simulate current and future network configurations to derisk investments and support long-term transformation We’re proud to support Böblingen’s journey toward a resilient and future-ready district heating system, where digitalization and advanced modeling drive both operational efficiency and long-term planning 🚀 #DigitalTwin #Sustainability #Decarbonization Volker Clauß Emil Nagy Stadtwerke Böblingen GmbH & Co.
