📅 On 6 October 2025, ICC judges found Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Darfur, Sudan. To accompany the verdict, #ICCOutreach organised activities to bring information about the judgment closer to affected communities, civil society, and media representatives: 📺 In Sudan: Five live screenings of the verdict were held in Darfur camps, gathering more than 300 participants. 💬 In Uganda: A screening in Kampala brought together 28 civil society organisations for a discussion with ICC staff, Office of the Prosecutor, Defence, and Legal Representatives of Victims. 🎤 A hybrid media briefing allowed journalists to interact directly with ICC representatives on the significance and next steps of the proceedings.
