Over the years, we’ve outgrown our offices twice, partnered with many clients across the Netherlands in diverse disciplines, and welcomed talented engineers and technicians from all over the world. Every collaboration, project and place we’ve visited has been part of our story and strengthened who we are today. A significant milestone in our journey has been the launch of Research-Square Engineering Services in Cape Town. This expansion represents our commitment to providing future-proof, remote engineering solutions. This team embodies a driven highly skilled group of engineers who align with the Dutch working culture and standards. Together, we've created a model that combines international reach with local excellence, enabling clients to deliver projects faster, smarter, and at scale. A month ago, we supported Eugene Engelbrecht (Site Manager) and Andre Stols (Senior Electrical Engineer) from South Africa as they began their new roles in the Netherlands. We visited them on site to check in on how their first month has been going. Today, they’re settled in, actively contributing to their teams and making an impact on one of today’s biggest challenges: the energy transition. 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿! 🌞 We kicked off the summer with a proper BBQ this past weekend in the beautiful Stadspark of Breda, joined by our fantastic R² team and their loved ones. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate, but a bit of rain never gets in the way of good food and great company. It turned into a cozy afternoon with plenty of laughs and the kind of energy that reminds us of what a solid team we’ve got. Big thanks to everyone who joined to make it such a great celebration. 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 3 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 Research-Square! In May, we welcomed three new colleagues to our HR & Recruitment teams, and we’re excited to introduce them! Evi Adams has joined our 𝐇𝐑 & 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 team. She just finished her bachelor’s in HRM and is always up for a good conversation - honest, open, and down-to-earth. Also: big fan of good food and a nice drink! Jennifer and Job are joining the 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦. Jennifer Dekkers is a true Oisterwijk local who started out as a beautician, then explored the tourism world before discovering her passion for recruitment. Fun fact: she bought her first dog when she was just 20. Job van Gestel brings a sporty and relaxed vibe. He’s been playing football for over 20 years, loves spinning records on his old record player, and is a huge 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 fan. Welcome! 𝗪𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱! Last Friday, we celebrated the opening of our brand-new office. What a night it was! It was great to welcome colleagues, clients, partners and friends into our new space.
