At #NATEK, we care about the wellbeing of our Team Members on all fronts. And in the many initiatives we have prepared for them over the years, it was a natural next step to add #PinktOctober to our #CSR and #ESG strategy💗 But why exactly did we decide to join many other organizations around the world in the efforts to raise awareness about breast and cervical cancer? Numbers talk for themselves: 🔸 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime – yet early detection can raise survival rates above 90%. 🔸 Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, but still takes over 300,000 lives every year worldwide. 🔸 Despite these statistics, many women skip preventive screenings, even though regular exams could save thousands of lives. Our mission was simple. We wanted to: 💗 spark conversations, 💗 break taboos, 💗 make preventive care easy, accessible, and part of everyday life. What activities have we prepared for our Team? 📸 LinkedIn campaign to share awareness about the topic. For every photo published by our Team Members, €5 will be donated to EUROPA DONNA - The European Breast Cancer Coalition to support awareness, research, and care. 💻 A professional #webinar conducted by an experienced doctor about cervical and breast cancer: prevention, detection, and care. 🩺 First ever #bloodscreenings in the office. We bring carefully designed tests directly to our Team, to provide a comprehensive look at NATEK Team Members' #wellbeing. Huge thank you to anyone who took part in our activities!
