I generally like the WP content. The app works. There are some consistent annoying things. There's a "for you" pop-up that appears on top of an article I am reading. That's never welcome. Also, when scrolling down an article, if my finger movement is slightly less than vertical, the app shifts right and starts showing some other unrelated stuff.

2025: Changing to 1 star. App works fine for a few days and then stops opening articles. The only way to fix is to reinstall or erase user data, both of which cause all settings to be lost. 2017: Easier to find articles than the new version, love that you can get a digital version of the printed edition.

When you swipe to a side, even slightly, the app will navigate to a different page. This is doubly frustrating because it will return to the start of whatever you were reading if you hit back, not where you left off. The games section needs an overhaul too. The side swipe issue mentioned above is a problem here. But so are the enormous banners and paragraphs of explanatory text on every game. You constantly have to scroll up and down to keep your crossword or whatever in view.
