Let's celebrate together #EuropeDay
Ever wanted to visit Europe in one day?
Like every year, the European institutions mark the historic presentation of the 'Schuman Declaration', which was first revealed on 9 May 1950. This pivotal moment was the beginning of European integration and cooperation for peace and unity.
This year, the EU Open Day in Brussels took place on Saturday 4 May. With the European elections (6-9 June) just around the corner, a vibrant array of events and activities were held in Brussels, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, and across the EU Member States.
This was the perfect opportunity for people to learn how the European Union shapes our daily life and how they too can contribute to it.
