Our week in Vest (Timisoara) 📍 We kicked off with the EIT Urban Mobility RIS Summit 2025—two days focused on strengthening the ecosystem from within. With EITUM representatives from across Europe, we exchanged lessons learned, shared country best practices, and aligned on a clearer common direction for what’s next. 🇪🇺 Mid-week was all about the inVest Accelerator (co-funded by EIT Urban Mobility and Agenția pentru Dezvoltare Regională Vest - ADR Vest), which we run with Cowork Timisoara. 💚 Demo Day brought 80+ people and 14 finalists on stage. ‘3 pitches, honest Q&A, and the thing we love most: matching startups with Romanian cities so a pitch can turn into a pilot—fast. We ended our working week at Prow, energized by 500+ participants—builders, designers, marketers, product folks—the kind of crowd we like. What did we bring to the stand? 👇 Access to funding, connections into European innovation networks, and tech transfer support — the people, context, and tools to move ideas faster from prototype to market. Two free but highly valuable workshops announced for the second part of October at our +ONE Business Incubator from CATTIA, Brașov. One already wrapped up — and it was exactly what we hoped for: curious minds, real questions, and plenty of practical takeaways. On Wednesday in Timișoara, we were reminded exactly why we love building ecosystems that connect the private sector, public institutions, and startups. We implemented the inVest Accelerator together with Cowork Timisoara—from the first outreach email to the last jury question. Over 80 people from the mobility, innovation, and investment community showed up with curiosity, tough questions, and genuine care for better cities. Thank you. We’re grateful to our opening speakers— ✨ Andrei Cosmin Munteanu, Lluis Puerto, Alexandra Hîncu—and to a grounded, forward-looking panel moderated by Ionut Tata, with Stefana Badescu, Bence HUBA, Sorin Maxim, and Adrian Pica. To the founders: you didn’t just pitch—you proved. 14 teams turned decks into pilot-ready solutions, from electric mobility and smart logistics to new urban services. And the winners are: 🏆 BraveX Aero – fixed-wing VTOL drones for monitoring & search-and-rescue 🏆 Renter– accessible e-bike subscriptions for couriers (GPS anti-theft, fast repairs, battery-swap lockers) 🏆 LogzAI (Whisper) – AI for demand forecasting and route optimisation in urban logistics What added value did this bring? • Founders gained funding, mentorship, and pathways to pilots with cities in the West Region. • The ecosystem aligned on how to scale locally and resonate across Europe. • And with two new funding instruments on the horizon (a business accelerator and a Venture Capital fund, as shared by Agenția pentru Dezvoltare Regională Vest - ADR Vest), the runway extends into 2026—and our teams are already a few steps ahead.
