The company continues to invest heavily in infrastructure to expand its coverage and capacity across the country . MTN also acknowledges its responsibility towards its stakeholders to sustain long-term mutual value. In this regard, the company has established relationships with governments and community groups for partnerships that are geared towards improving the quality of service it offers to Rwandans through its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, MTN Foundation. MTN Rwanda has continued to grow from being a generic telecommunication company known for basic telephony to a digital lifestyle-enabling, one-stop solutions shop that supports consumers through every moment and every stage of their life.

MTN Group is honoured to be among the first private sector members of the Africa Taskforce on Child Online Protection, a new initiative led by UNICEF and GSMA to accelerate the implementation of the African Union’s Child Online Safety and Empowerment Policy. The Taskforce brings together governments, regulators, telecoms, content platforms, civil society, and young people to strengthen child online safety across Africa, from improving regulation and law enforcement capacity to integrating safety into school curricula, enhancing reporting portals and driving data-driven decisions through Africa-specific research. At MTN, we believe that inclusion without safety is incomplete. As we connect over 300 million people across the continent, we remain committed to ensuring that every child can connect, learn, and thrive, free from fear and harm.
