Christian Leibel is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at LMU Munich, specializing in bibliometrics and the sociology of science. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology from the LMU Munich. His doctoral research focuses on the quantitative analysis of scientific communication and social structures in science. Christian Leibel is a recipient of the “Max Weber Program” scholarship and is an active member of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI).
