🌟 Interim report January - June 2025 🌟 The second quarter of the year was marked by continued uncertainty related to trade tariffs and macroeconomic conditions. Despite the challenges, the industrial operations’ order intake developed positively and continued to grow during the quarter, driven by both acquisitions and organic growth. In the markets where we operate, overall demand remains at a relatively healthy level, although it varies across regions and sectors. The uncertainty is, to some extent, influencing customer investment decisions, leading to longer decision-making processes. This is particularly affecting the project-based operations within Swegon, Nord-Lock Group and Caljan. However, we are seeing a mixed picture, with Nord-Lock Group reporting a record high quarter for order intake, Swegon is organically in line with the corresponding quarter last year and Caljan slowing down. Hultafors Group is affected by the generally weaker construction industry in Europe, and is slight lower compared with the same quarter last year. We remain confident that our operations are well-positioned to navigate the current market environment and, as in previous periods, we are fully prepared to respond to shifts in demand. ✨ Latour expands Nord-Lock Groups business offering into critical fasteners by acquisition of Energy Bolting Limited ✨ Investment AB Latour (publ) has, through its wholly-owned business area Nord-Lock Group, acquired 75 per cent of Energy Bolting Limited. Energy Bolting is a manufacturer of critical fasteners, primarily towards customers with high demands for quality, traceability and need for certification. The company was founded in 2018 by Robin Hart-Archer and Dan Pearce and is based in Wolverhampton, Great Britan and has a revenue exceeding 7 MGBP and a profitability level well above Latour’s wholly-owned industrial operations. ”We warmly welcome all Energy Bolting employees to the Nord-Lock Group. ✨ Interim report January – March 2025 ✨ Latour’s industrial operations are developing positively even in the face of the geopolitical and economic uncertainties. Demand is relatively good, although there are variations across regions and sectors. Positive market signs at the start of this year gave way to a more cautious tone towards the end of the quarter, due the considerable uncertainty surrounding trade war, inflation and interest rates. However, we remain confident that our operations are in a good position to manage the current challenges and, as in the past, we are well prepared for any changes in the demand environment. On the 10th of April, the second event of Latour Female took place at the Latour head office! Participants from across Latour’s wholly owned operations gathered in Gothenburg, while others connected via live link, including some all the way from North America. ✨ The event featured a presentation by Linda U Johansson on the cutting-edge topics of AI and immersive technology. ✨ Latour expands in lift communication solutions in the UK by acquiring Syntium Lifts ✨ Investment AB Latour (publ) has, through its wholly-owned company Esse-Ti, part of the Innovalift AB business area, acquired 100 per cent of the shares in Syntium Lifts (“Syntium”), based in Kent in the UK, to expand its geographical reach of lift communication products for lifts and elevators. Syntium is a leading UK specialist distributor of lift communication products for elevators, primarily for the growing modernization segment. The company, founded in 2010 by Dave O’Brien, sells complete lift communication solutions such as autodialler units, evacuation intercom systems and routers with associated SIM card services. Syntium has net sales in excess of GBP 2 m, exclusive to the UK and Ireland, and a profitability well above Latour’s wholly-owned industrial operations.
