  • Beware the Phisherman! Scammers are impersonating Oatly and targeting hardworking, unsuspecting job seekers by using fake email addresses to offer fake jobs or fake interviews. These communications may look like the real thing, but they are merely bait and nets thrown out by Phishermen and women trawling the LinkedIn sea. These shady people stalking this sunny place are not from Oatly, and they do not represent us. All official communications from our team will come from our verified email domain: @oatly.com. Never from a different one like @oatlycareers.com or @oatlycompany.com. Oatly will never request payment or sensitive information during the initial application process. To verify the legitimacy of any job posting or recruiter, please check our official career site at https://careers.oatly.com/ and email us at [email protected]. Okay, that was the opposite of fun. Anyone got any good reading recommendations?

Over 210 million children in more than 100 countries are offered milk and dairy products in schools. 88% of school milk programmes do not offer an alternative to cow’s milk….including the EU’s School Milk scheme. The result? Millions of children and families who prefer plant-based drinks - for medical, environmental, religious or ethical reasons - miss out on a basic entitlement. It's 2025 and I think we can do better: Children and families have a right to choose. Some can’t or don’t want to consume traditional dairy. Whether it’s for allergy, intolerance, or ethical reasons. There are nutritious alternatives. Fortified plant-based drinks are included in several dietary guidelines around the world.  It’s kinder to the planet. Sustainability is not optional in our world. It is high time the EU revised the school milk scheme to reflect the choice and world we live in today. And we should give children more opportunity to learn about diverse food systems, the environmental impact of what we eat, and maintaining a healthy sustainable diet. The benefits are endless.   #WorldSchoolMilkDay

Either you’re like Oskar Pernefeldt , one of our Creative Directors here at Oatly, who—after the workday is done—goes home to run a global non-profit promoting the International Flag of Planet Earth (www.flagofplanetearth.com), designed to represent every single human on this pale blue dot, regardless of birthplace, political belief, religious conviction, or taste in music. A flag that reminds us to care for each other and the planet we live on. Or you’re more like me, the Oatly LinkedIn writer, who—after the workday is done—goes home to sit on a sofa and pick lint from your belly button. Only one of these two categories of people gets to give a TED Talk about their spare time. On the other hand, we’re both represented by the Flag of Planet Earth, so in the end, we pretty much accomplished the same thing. And that was my Ted Talk, watch Oskar’s here: https://lnkd.in/dH37iiGQ

If you’re a fact-checker concerned about a tech company who’s seemingly lost interest in facts and data and science, it could be time to consider an oat drink company who is still very much interested in facts and data and science. Sure, oats may not be as sexy as busting child eating conspiracies, or big time election lies or alien abduction theories, but did you hear how oat drink is disrupting the retrograde patterns of the moon? – okay we made that one up, but believe it or not, there’s a lot of stuff being said about oat drink these days (see the Internet) and seriously, who knows what to believe anymore? So if you think it might be cool to help fight misinformation in the oat drink universe you can start by taking a look at our Small Nutrition Book at oatly.com/nutrition and if it passes your sniff test, just reach out to this totally legit email address: [email protected] and let’s talk science!

IF YOU’RE NOT INTO GIGGS, PERHAPS YOU’RE INTO WIGS.   This week we’re not only launching a collab with the UK rap legend Giggs, we’re also in court! At 10:30 AM GMT today, Suits representing Big Dairy will argue that only companies using cows have the right to use the word ’milk’. If they’re successful, we (or anyone else making plant-based products) might not be able to say things like ”The Post Milk Generation”. You can follow the show from the Court of Appeal in London at the livestream below. And feel free to comment! Beware though, using the word ”milk” is at your own risk.
