RE-Source 2025 kicks off today in Amsterdam! OX2 has a strong presence at Europe’s leading event for corporate renewable energy sourcing. As demand for electricity continues to rise, large companies, including the so-called #hyperscalers, are increasingly turning to long-term Power Purchase Agreements (#PPA) to secure reliable, clean electricity and meet their net-zero targets. Olli Hagqvist, Director of Power Markets and PPA at OX2, structures and negotiates these long-term agreements, helping corporates access new renewable capacity with additionality and flexibility at their core. This week at #RESource2025 in Amsterdam, Olli and our team are meeting international companies to discuss how we can provide tailored support, not only through traditional PPAs but also hybrid solutions that combine different generation technologies and storage. We are proud to have signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Amazon for 28 MW from the Annopol onshore wind farm in Poland. "Together with Amazon, we share a strong commitment to accelerating the energy transition, and we are pleased to expand our collaboration. Congratulations to Grace Stewart, Senior Development Manager at OX2 Australia and one of the recipients of the 2025 Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership! This prestigious scholarship is awarded by the Clean Energy Council and supports emerging female leaders who are driving Australia’s clean energy transition. As part of the program, Grace will participate in the Leading Edge Course over a four-month period. At OX2, Grace plays a central role in developing renewable energy projects across #Australia, drawing on her strengths in project management, stakeholder engagement, and community relations. She also actively contributes to industry initiatives such as Women in Renewables Victoria and the Melbourne Renewable Energy Network events, and mentors young professionals entering the sector. "I feel very privileged and honoured to have been selected for the Chloe Munro Scholarship. Growing up in Lebanon, with scheduled power outages due to insufficient generation, leading in Australia’s renewable energy sector represents both a personal goal and an opportunity to drive sustainable development. We are proud to announce that OX2 Åland and Ålandsbanken Abp have submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Noatun North offshore wind project. An EIA evaluates how a project may affect the environment, including wildlife, seabed, and local communities. Noatun North could include up to 360 turbines and produce around 20 TWh of renewable electricity each year, supporting the energy transition in the #BalticSea region. This submission marks a key step toward the environmental permit process. #renewableenergy #offshorewind #EIA

We are delighted to welcome Nalini Blacker as Head of Engineering at OX2 Australia. Nalini brings over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, having held senior engineering and leadership roles at Atmos Renewables, Total Eren, and Pacific Hydro. Her expertise spans wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, with a strong focus on technical due diligence, project delivery and asset performance. Nalini’s extensive industry experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to accelerate access to renewable energy in Australia. “I’m excited to be joining OX2 Australia to lead the engineering team. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to a company with bold ambitions, and I’m looking forward to helping create and optimise assets as an IPP.
