  • With just one week(!) left until the Pink Programming Festival kicks off - we want to introduce you to our three main workshops during the Festival Day, November 8th 💥 https://lnkd.in/d5iYzP_K WORKSHOP: EXPLORE GENERATIVE ART  Programming doesn’t need to be about solving serious real-world problems. It can also be used to create beautiful art from mathematical formulae and randomness. In this workshop you will get to try your hand at creating generative art using R guided by Juulia Suvilehto. WORKSHOP: AI IN ACTION Curious about how AI fits into everyday life? In this session Elisa Bin will offer a glimpse into AI as a practical tool and how it’s used in real-world settings. Generative AI and transformers are behind some of today’s most exciting innovations, from producing text to creating images. You may have heard about their potential, but perhaps haven’t had the chance to explore them directly. This workshop is an opportunity to dive in – hands-on and collaboratively – to begin uncovering the concepts and possibilities behind these technologies together! WORKSHOP: CATALYZE YOUR CAREER Ready to take your tech career to the next level? Join Gabriela M. Moraes and 🦄 Tshepiso Lehutjo for a hands-on session packed with practical tips, real-life examples, and guidance to help your skills and passions shine. Learn how to stand out, gain visibility, and confidently navigate your tech journey. Bring your questions, ideas, and curiosity—and let’s turn your experience into real impact! Bring your CV! We can’t wait to see you at Media Evolution on November 8th. Read more and sign up here: https://lnkd.in/d5iYzP_K 🎈

  • The Pink After Work in Malmö was all about the future of mobility. Together with BorgWarner, we explored how software is transforming the automotive industry 🚗 💻 Hanna Brinck, System Test Engineer at BorgWarner, shared her journey from university and the Lund Formula Student project, where she helped design and race a Formula-style car against universities worldwide, how cool!! 🏎️ Nirmin Almalla and Megan A. took the stage with their talk “From First Contact to Team Members,” sharing their inspiring journey from meeting BorgWarner at a Pink After Work, to joining the summer internship program, and now contributing part-time while completing their studies. Their story of growth, learning, and finding their path perfectly illustrates what Pink Programming is all about - creating real opportunities! Time flies when you’re having fun - don’t miss the Pink Programming festival next week! Link here: https://lnkd.in/d-qTH-Mn

  • Robotics and AI innovation were on the agenda for our first Pink Sunday of the season in Stockholm, hosted at the Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, ITRL – Integrated Transport Research Lab. The day kicked off with an introduction by Elisa Bin, Elnaz Eghtesadi and Annika Wong on how robotics, AI, and smart mobility are reshaping transportation - showing how algorithms go from lab theory to real-world roads 🤖 Participants also got a guided tour of ITRL’s cutting-edge facilities and ongoing projects. The excitement didn’t stop there - attendees got hands-on with remote-driving self-driving miniature cars, experimented with block programming and smart traffic lights, and explored beginner-friendly AI for robotics in MATLAB - how cool?💡 Don't miss our October events - Link here! https://lnkd.in/gJ5EJpTu

  • The Pink Sunday in Lund was all about daring to start fresh! With a strong turnout at Axis Communications, the day was bursting with inspiration, learning, and community 🚀 In an engaging session, Rebecca Svensson and Susanne Regnell sparked honest discussions about what it really means to be “smart” and “good enough.” Participants explored different types of intelligence, the value of persistence, and how setting realistic goals can be more powerful than chasing perfection. The workshop, led by Linnea Allander and Julia Jakobsson, turned these insights into experience, starting with an interactive introduction to GitHub, tracking down deleted files and mastering merge conflicts. And then excitingly moving into coding with Arduino boards - tinkering with lights & sensors!
