Pipe bridge progress! In March this year, we installed the first pipe bridge on our site in Boden. It now spans a large part of the facility and will connect power, gas and water to all areas of the steelmaking process.

Things have really been moving ahead at our water treatment plant! Foundations are in place, the first equipment has been installed, and the steel structure continues to grow. Here, we will filter and purify water from the Lule River to produce demineralized water for our hydrogen and steel plants, as well as reclaim wastewater through advanced membrane and crystallizer systems. When it opens, the facility will feature four separate treatment lines and be among the most advanced water treatment facilities in the world!

We are a fast-growing company and always on the lookout for talented people to join our team! Yesterday, we hosted a family member career event in Boden, welcoming our colleagues and their adult family members. We have many people from the surrounding region, but several have also recently moved to Boden to join our team, bringing their families along. This event was a great opportunity to make new connections. Family members also had the chance to meet our hiring managers to discuss their past work experience and explore whether any of our open positions could be a good fit. Latest flyover! Week by week, our Boden steel plant is changing with momentum and full speed.

Last week, part of our team attended #Blechexpo2025, Europe’s leading trade fair for sheet metal processing! It was great to meet many of our customers and connect with new contacts across the industry. A week filled with insightful conversations about innovation, partnership, and how we can shape the future of the industry together!

Over 50 % of our electrolyzers has now been installed! A significant progress! In total we will have 37 electrolyzers that together will form Europe’s largest facility for producing green hydrogen.

Stegra is in a financing round! Following strong initial commitments from our existing investors, we're now announcing that we're in a financing round for our large-scale green steel plant in Boden, Sweden. With more than 60% of the project already completed, we have a clear roadmap and detailed plan to reach full completion. With that, we will continue advancing the project with additional strength from this financing round, cementing our unique position in the green steel landscape.
