  • "The iCargo community is growing." Alice Luxa, Director of Digital Transformation at MSC Air Cargo, shares takeaways from the 25th IBS Software Cargo Forum in New Delhi, a parallel celebration to MSC Air Cargo’s third anniversary. From powerful AI-driven developments to insights gained from a rollout of iCargo across thousands of users, Alice reflects on how these moments shape her approach to change management and digital transformation.

  • Digital transformation was front and centre at the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference APAC in Bangkok. As a booth sponsor, we were delighted to spend two days connecting with airlines, industry stakeholders, and technology partners from across the region. Our conversations revealed a clear trend: airlines are poised to move beyond legacy operations and crew management systems. Many are eager to take the digital leap, and we’re proud to partner with them on this journey. Thierry Pfeiffer presented and shared insights on how Operations and Crew Systems are evolving from cost centres into strategic drivers of airline value. He emphasised how the right digital platforms can unlock cost savings, strengthen operational resilience, and improve crew experiences - with AI playing a key enabling role in this transformation. A big thank you from Jeanette See and Thierry to everyone who visited our booth, shared their ideas, and participated in the discussions. Aircraft Commerce

  • Sharing moments from the Cochin launch of Futurepoint Cabs, a social outreach program by IBS Foundation. Sri. P. Rajeev, Honourable Minister for Industries, Law and Coir, Government of Kerala, attended the event. Jayan Nair, Chief People Officer at IBS Software, delivered the welcome address, and our Founder and Executive Chairman, V K Mathews, offered the opening remarks, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Futurepoint Cabs is a not-for-profit initiative designed to transform lives by putting women in the driver’s seat. Participants undergo structured training that includes driving expertise, maintenance, customer service, financial literacy, digital skills, and self-defence. Upon certification, graduates transition into professional roles as cab drivers, supported by a technology-enabled platform, featuring user-friendly apps for both drivers and riders. The first cohort of 13 drivers is already operational in Cochin, and training for the next group of 25 is underway. The vision is to enable more than 1,000 women to participate in this transformative program over the next few years. Our sincerest congratulations to all involved in this initiative!
