Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won its first Game of the Year award during gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025. The largest gaming event in Southeast Asia wrapped up with the Thailand Game Awards, which also recognized Sandfall Interactive’s title in the categories of Best RPG, Best PC/Console Game, and Popular Vote award. Released in April, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has already sold over 5 million copies. The RPG highlights the strength of mid-budget (AA) games, which continue to gain ground between indie productions and major blockbusters. ----------------- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ganhou seu primeiro prêmio de Jogo do Ano durante a gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025. The first-ever gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show brought together 206,000 visitors, 294 exhibitors and 5,590 business professionals from 81 countries, making it the largest gaming business and consumer festival in Southeast Asia to date. With the theme of “World of Gaming”, the event celebrated creativity, innovation and collaboration across the entire gaming ecosystem, including development, publishing, esports, hardware and community culture. The strong turnout and global engagement reflect the region’s growing influence as a key driver of the international games industry. Congratulations to Glen for this well-deserved honor, a truly inspirational industry voice! ⭐️ …Danny Koo (Marvel Games) pulled back the curtain on integrating lesser-known heroes into Marvel Rivals, announcing that Marvel Zombies, the game’s first ever PvE mode, will be launching globally on October 23! ⭐️ …on the other end of the industry spectrum, we are proud to show off the most promising newcomers with the Pitch Competition wrapping with MVRX games (Sweden) winning Best Visual for Dew, Kotakoren Games (Malaysia) taking Best Game Design for Of Blood and Descend, and Mudtek (USA) earning Most Anticipated Game for Dimraeth.
