Search in the Music app on Apple TV
On the Search screen in the Apple Music app, you can find a specific song, artist, or album in Apple Music or your library, or you can find something new by browsing search categories.
Explore categories
- Go to the Music app  on Apple TV. on Apple TV.
- Navigate to Search  at the top of the screen. at the top of the screen.
- Navigate down to view categories based on genre, decade, activities like Focus or Sleep, or features like Spatial Audio or Apple Music Sing. 
- Select a category to explore music related to that category. 
- Press  or or on your remote to return to the Search screen. on your remote to return to the Search screen.
Search for a specific song, artist, or album
- Go to the Music app  on Apple TV. on Apple TV.
- Navigate to Search  at the top of the screen. at the top of the screen.
- Enter what you’re searching for (such as a song title or lyric). - Tip: When you want to search, simply describe what you're looking for using natural language, such as “hit songs from movies” or “nostalgic songs from the ‘90s.” 
- Do any of the following: - Navigate down to a suggested search term, then select it to search for that term. 
- Navigate down to the Top Hits section, then select an item to play it or view more information. 
- To limit your search to items in your library, navigate to Your Library under the onscreen keyboard. 
 
Siri: Press and hold  on your remote, then ask Siri to play a specific song, album, artist, or genre.
