Move a work item through its workflow
Each work item has a workflow depending on the request type being used. You can transition a work item through its workflow (move it from start to finish) inside the work item view.
Both admins and agents can transition a work item.
Transition a work item
Open a work item.
Select the Status.
Select the status to transition to, or View workflow to see how the work moves through this request type.
