A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the Center for Strategic Studies in Amman and the Persian Gulf. TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, and the Center’s Chairman, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Issa Al-Adwan signed the document.
The agreement includes plans for joint scientific and educational projects, research, history and literature studies, knowledge and experience exchange, deepening cultural cooperation, and digitizing historical information and sources.
During the meeting, Rector Samushia outlined two priority areas: a series of international conferences that will analyze relations between the two countries, as well as open-source research on Georgia.
Jaba Samushia also emphasized the university's readiness to strengthen international partnerships and promote intercultural dialogue: “Tbilisi State University is constantly striving to expand its scientific relations with leading academic and research centers worldwide. Our goal is to bring societies closer together and promote shared development goals through knowledge sharing and joint research.”
