Last month marked 6 months since our 2024 / 2025 GDP cohort first walked through the doors of MeTL Group, after a long, rigorous application process. As always, we commemorated the milestone with a mid-program townhall, a space to reconnect, reflect, and recognize progress. It’s a moment I always look forward to. Not just to speak to our graduates, but to listen. Over the years of running the program, I have found that each cohort brings something unique. This time, it was innovation! One of the ideas came from an observation within the cohort themselves: that many are unaware of the full scale of MeTL’s brands, services and offerings. The solution? A mobile app designed to bridge that gap through an interactive platform combining e-commerce, investment features, and AI driven support. A vision for how MeTL can show up smarter, stronger and more connected. The second identified an opportunity to turn waste into value through a scalable solution converting paper waste into eco-friendly textile fibers. This model addresses two national challenges: environmental waste, and textile import reliance. It’s green thinking, backed by numbers. These are reflections of the kind of thinking we are striving to nurture: solutions grounded in relevance, designed with purpose, and delivered with confidence.
