Weʼve just launched our new acceleration batch! 🎉 Yesterday, we held a successful kick-off of the program, where we listened to the pitches of all the teams and introduced them to each other. The participants also received their first feedback from our experts to properly tune in to the program. This time, we gathered very strong teams with innovative ideas and great potential to raise funds and enter international markets after just three months of acceleration. 🇫🇮 Ukrainian startups presented their innovations at the Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit 2025 — an event that annually gathers leading investors, corporations, and accelerators in the European deep-tech ecosystem. To better understand the local context, the delegation began the trip with a visit to Aalto University — one of Europe’s strongest universities in terms of research commercialisation. The teams explored Aalto’s innovation infrastructure, acceleration programs, and support units that help deep-tech projects grow from within the university environment. 📌 During the summit: — Around 100 meetings took place between Ukrainian startups and representatives of European VC funds, innovation hubs, and universities — New connections include Sumitomo Electric Industries, Iron Wolf Capital, ZAZ Ventures, Sandwaters, BSV Ventures, Natural Resources Institute Finland, and Helsinki Health Cluster — Teams received initial interest from Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Urban Tech Helsinki, Kemira, Quriegene, and University of Tampere — For many, it was a chance to validate their products in the Finnish market, receive expert feedback, and build the right connections for entering the Nordic ecosystem ➡️ Such targeted trips are an effective tool for deep-tech development. 🔥 Recently, our graduate StackBooster was selected to the new cohort of 500 Global Eurasia! The team managed to enter the top 13 among 500+ startups. According to the founder and CEO of the startup, Alex Sharabudinov, this is a strong validation of their mission to make Kubernetes infrastructure much more efficient and reliable. 💡 Stackbooster is an AI platform that allows companies of any size to reduce cloud costs by 60%+. 👉 At 500 Global, the team has access to world-class mentors, a community of founders, and a powerful network of investors and customers. During the program, the founders want to reach $500K ARR, build a scalable and repeatable customer acquisition model, and prepare for a $2–5M Seed round. 🇫🇮 First stop — Aalto University. A powerful start to NORDEEP 2025. Hosted at one of Finland’s leading innovation hubs, the visit provided the Ukrainian deep-tech delegation with firsthand insight into how research, entrepreneurship, and commercialisation are supported at the university level. From exploring Design Factory and Startup Sauna to in-depth sessions with Aalto Startup Center and Founder School, the teams connected with Finnish ecosystem builders helping science-driven ventures scale. 💡 What the startups gained: • Practical models for supporting research-based innovation • Insights into how Finnish universities educate and back founders • Direct contacts with local ecosystem builders, accelerators, and tech transfer experts • Inspiration for building resilient ventures with global potential In the evening, two Ukrainian startups presented their dual-use technologies at the Defence Tech Meetup in Helsinki — sparking new conversations on resilience, security, and frontier innovation.
