I’m very proud to share that BBC Studios and Globo, the largest media company in Latin America, have signed a milestone co-production agreement for a new documentary series that will take audiences deep into the Amazon rainforest through powerful, locally rooted storytelling. Today’s news marks our first co-production in Latin America and we couldn’t have asked for a better collaborator in Globo, a longstanding, invaluable partner of ours. Together, we’re creating a series that not only captures the extraordinary beauty of the Amazon, but also amplifies Indigenous voices and perspectives for global audiences. This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to finding new, unique ways to collaborate with acclaimed, like-minded partners and investing in homegrown content that resonates both locally and globally. 🎶 Lost T. Rex tracks discovered as Marc Bolan receives an English Heritage 'Blue Plaque' honour! After 50 years hidden in the vaults, Demon Music Group and BBC Studios have today unveiled two rare T. Rex gems: “I’m Dazed,” a completely unheard track, and a newly unearthed studio take of “Billy Super Duper.” The release coincides with English Heritage’s unveiling of a blue plaque honouring Marc Bolan, on what would have been his birthday. 💙 Guest speakers included Petroc Trelawney, Martin Barden, Bobby Gillespie, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Chris Welch and finally Rick Wakeman, who revealed the plaque.
