Cyber criminals are escalating their attacks on UK businesses, with malicious scans rising by 300% in the last year, now probing devices over 4,000 times a day. Our new data reveals that smaller firms (under 25 staff) and sectors like professional services, retail, and hospitality are being hit hardest by ransomware. To help businesses stay ahead, we've partnered with cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike to launch BT Business Antivirus Detect and Respond (BADR). Powered by CrowdStrike Falcon® Go, this new service brings industry-leading, AI-native protection, trusted by the world's largest enterprises, directly to UK SMEs. Over 150 schools have joined our Work Ready events so far in 2025! Last week marked the exciting launch of our 2025-26 BT Group Work Ready virtual bootcamps, which have been off to a flying start! Across Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we welcomed hundreds of students aged 11-14 from across the UK into our immersive digital skills sessions. These events are designed to provide students with the key skills needed to thrive in our tech-driven world. The engagement and enthusiasm which the students have brought to the sessions so far has been brilliant! During Week One, we successfully delivered three virtual bootcamp sessions via Zoom, and the experience was truly collaborative, with teachers facilitating classroom discussions and sharing student responses in real time. Students were also able to participate in live Q&As with inspiring BT Group ambassadors, and they've already begun to tackle our exciting, new Innovation Challenge, inspired by real BT Group initiatives. We've loved seeing photos of students tuning into our sessions and getting creative. Keep them coming - and don't forget to tag us BT Group and use #WorkReady to share your highlights! If you'd like to register for one of our upcoming events, please see our registration page to sign up today! https://lnkd.in/dbJJREv7 #WeConnectForGood
